The Centre is situated in Home End, next to the Recreation Ground, and has plenty of parking, making it an ideal facility for clubs, groups, business events, as well as family parties and weddings.

The Townley Memorial Hall Ltd is a company limited by guarantee (Reg. Company No. 4735777) and a registered charity (No. 1100947). The Directors of the Company are also charity Trustees for the purposes of charity law and under the Company's articles are known as members of the Board. The Company was incorporated on 9 February 2004 and registered as a charity on 16 September 2004.

The company was set up under a Memorandum of Association which established the objects and powers of the Company and is governed under its Articles of Association. The Board of Trustees, known as the Management Committee, is made up of Trustees from the earlier Memorial Hall Trust, appointees of the Fulbourn Parish Council and the Fulbourn Institute Sports and Social Club together with those elected or co-opted from affiliated members or users.
